Bristol City are in talks with former Brighton captain Vicky Losada, who is available on a free transfer this summer.

The Spanish midfielder left Women's Super League club Brighton after two years upon the expiry of her contract in July.

Losada made 47 appearances in all competitions during her time at Brighton, having previously played for Roma, Manchester City and Arsenal.

The 34-year-old also won the Women's Champions League with Barcelona in 2021 and made 65 appearances for Spain.

It would be a shrewd signing for second-tier side Bristol City, who have already added experienced Wales midfielder Sophie Ingle to their squad this summer.
