Penyanyi asal Amerika Serikat Katy Perry merilis musik video lagu populernya, The One That Got Away versi potongan asli sutradara. Musik video itu memiliki potongan cerita dengan durasi lebih panjang yang memperdalam kisah cinta anak muda yang berakhir tragis.
Video asli itu sudah tersimpan selama 15 tahun sebelum akhirnya dirilis pada 21 April 2026. Meski sudah dirilis belasan tahun lalu, lagu ini masih didengar karena pesan yang masih relevan dengan kehidupan percintaan di zaman sekarang.
The One That Got Away mengisahkan tentang penyesalan, nostalgia dan kerinduan terhadap seseorang yang pernah dicintai namun terlepas dan berakhir. Lagu ini menggambarkan perasaan seseorang yang menyadari bahwa mereka melepaskan cinta sejatinya dan kini harus hidup dengan kenangan di masa lalu.
