Tottenham have signed Julie Blakstad after her contract with Swedish club Hammarby came to an end.
Spurs head coach Martin Ho described the 24-year-old Norway international as a "modern, dynamic full-back" with an "attacking edge".
Blakstad spent the past two years with Stockholm-based Hammarby but has Women's Super League experience having played for Manchester City between January 2022 and March 2023.
She said her return to England would provide the opportunity "to play against the best players as often as I can".
The length of the deal has not been revealed, but Ho said the signing had been a "clear priority" for the London club.
Her time at Hammarby saw her score eight goals and provide eight assists in 26 appearances.
She has played 31 times for Norway, scoring three goals.
